I need to start keeping up...

Hello out there blogger world...it's been a longtime. So let me catch you up, I had my 20th birthday come and go and let me tell you being 2 decades old aint no joke, I feel like adulthood is right around the corner waiting for me, especially because I'm a junior even though the university has me listed as a senior....long story. So after the big birthday were finals...my favorite time of the year(bullshit). Finals weren't so bad, in fact I've found that if you pay attention during most of the school year finals are just a review....lol what a silly notion though, paying attention in class I laugh in your face hahahahahaha. So then I went home which btw in case you haven't been keeping up its now December some time. I get home looking forward to a relatively relaxing break, mostly sleeping, eating, and watch our new 250 channel TV, with a few days of work sprinkled here and there. For the most part that's how break went until Christmas week....my laptop broke, I had no money, lost my wallet,got food posioning, didn't make the deans list....that's a lot of drama for just one week. However I pulled through b/c imma survivor. Anyhow its a new year with some of the same drama...lets start with the fact that I have yet again taken on the task of 18 credit hours and hopefully making dean's list this go round, secondly as for the love/relationship part of my life same drama different dude....and if your reading this (you know who you are) go fuck yourself, b/c I've got better things to do than to fuck with you :-) P.S. I'm not kidding...now back to more important things, yesterday was MLK day and our guess speaker was Dr. Maya Angelou, now even though for reasons beyond my control I was not in attendance, I was told it was a phenomenal speech b/c duh she is a phenomenal woman(all puns intended). Right now I'm occupying my time by being sick esp. with the multicolored snot, thus far there's been yellow, clear, red, and green....what could be next??? What an exciting game....n e way that's all I've got for now, so imma do a spell check then post this bad boy...until next post smooches laters

So I went home this weekend...I had so much fun...I miss my family so much sometimes, but while I was home I learned something about myself I can't live MY life for my family. Three states, One Girl

No, this is not the beginning of a bad joke. It's actually the beginning of a cool trip. I had a conference in Boston a couple of weeks ago. That was my first time in MA, while there I took the opportunity to check off a couple of additional NE states that I'd never been too. Depending on who you ask NY may or may not be considered NE but in any case previously I'd only been as far north as CT. With this trip I also saw NH & ME. I actually had to look up the abbreviation for Maine because I'd never been and couldn't remember what it was 😅.  Coastal Maine was beautiful. I've obviously been on the east coast waters before but seeing it as a lush green forestscape was another thing entirely. I definitely see why it's the setting of so many Stephen King stories, it's hauntingly beautiful. New Hampshire was a bit more rustic than I expected in the most delightful way.
