Swamped

I'm now 22 yrs old and I feel like I have aged. In the last 8 months or so of my life I have graduated from college, traveled to Australia, moved to Florida, got a job at Disney World, had some not so pleasant real world experiences, been roped into something I am not ready to do, made some truly awesome friends, and can't really remember the last time I actually took a deep breath and relaxed. I have truly grown into this awesome person and I am glad since it took me so long to actually bloom. Hopefully the world out there is prepared for all that I have to offer because I am poised to get out there and do my own thing. I have realized that just because people are nice to you it doesn't mean that they are your friends...your true friends are the ones that tell you that your being a dbag and to get over yourself. Hopefully with a new year now in full swing I'll be that diamond all the pressures of life is making me out to be. Until next post laters

So I went home this weekend...I had so much fun...I miss my family so much sometimes, but while I was home I learned something about myself I can't live MY life for my family. Three states, One Girl

No, this is not the beginning of a bad joke. It's actually the beginning of a cool trip. I had a conference in Boston a couple of weeks ago. That was my first time in MA, while there I took the opportunity to check off a couple of additional NE states that I'd never been too. Depending on who you ask NY may or may not be considered NE but in any case previously I'd only been as far north as CT. With this trip I also saw NH & ME. I actually had to look up the abbreviation for Maine because I'd never been and couldn't remember what it was 😅.  Coastal Maine was beautiful. I've obviously been on the east coast waters before but seeing it as a lush green forestscape was another thing entirely. I definitely see why it's the setting of so many Stephen King stories, it's hauntingly beautiful. New Hampshire was a bit more rustic than I expected in the most delightful way.
