Puppy Love

I'd like to introduce all my loyal followers (yup the both of you) to the newset member of the clan, Lord Jaymeson better known as LJ.  He is a Jack Russell Mix that I got from the Atlanta Humane Society. He is a little over 2 years old and he can be such a sweetie. He needs a little training (let's be honest I'm the one that really needs it) to be the best dog he can be but otherwise he is pretty awesome. One of his favorite things to do is sleep which if you know me at all you know that's one of my favorite activites and thus we are a match made in puppy heaven. He is my first dog so I'm a little out of my element but there are so many dog owners in ATL and at my job that I have plenty of people to turn to. Overall I am very happy to have him and look forward to many blissful years.

So I went home this weekend...I had so much fun...I miss my family so much sometimes, but while I was home I learned something about myself I can't live MY life for my family. Three states, One Girl

No, this is not the beginning of a bad joke. It's actually the beginning of a cool trip. I had a conference in Boston a couple of weeks ago. That was my first time in MA, while there I took the opportunity to check off a couple of additional NE states that I'd never been too. Depending on who you ask NY may or may not be considered NE but in any case previously I'd only been as far north as CT. With this trip I also saw NH & ME. I actually had to look up the abbreviation for Maine because I'd never been and couldn't remember what it was 😅.  Coastal Maine was beautiful. I've obviously been on the east coast waters before but seeing it as a lush green forestscape was another thing entirely. I definitely see why it's the setting of so many Stephen King stories, it's hauntingly beautiful. New Hampshire was a bit more rustic than I expected in the most delightful way.
