March Madness!
In my mind, it's still January. In reality it is almost April. It has been such a whirlwind kind of month. At work we are getting ready for our new summer exhibit Imaginary Worlds. The whole exhibit features sculptures that are made completely of plant material. Let's see if I can successfully create a link because I am not great at explaining it. Needless to say once you have checked out the photos of past shows you will understand why we are super excited but a bit uneasy about the whole event. Also on the work front as a part of my new responsibilities I have about 3 full garden change outs to organize from plant selection down to delivery to layout and finally care. Though I have an excellent assistant who is helping me ride the wave it's still a challenge.
In other news I have been out having fun! I have really hit my stride! This month was the beginning of the year of concerts. First up: Owl City, Neon Trees and Maroon 5. Worth every penny. I've included photos of course and would recommend seeing the show if you are a fan.
Coupled with concerts I've gotten back into going out and partying with friends. I realized that with all the Florida traveling and such I had not been out in Atlanta all of 2013! Thus I went home....to Burkharts (it's like my "Cheers" bar....everyone knows my name). It just so happens that my girl JuJubee (Ru Paul's Drag Race, Ru Paul's Drag U, Ru Paul's Drag Race:All Stars) was performing and we had an awesome spot. My favorite Atlanta based drag queen, Angelica D'Paige, played host with the most and rocked the show herself. Hanging at Burkharts really did feel like being home. Enjoy these photos too.

This month has been so fun (yet exhausting) that I am spending this evening on the couch with Jesse and Netflix. After all April will be bringing Imaginary Worlds prep, NCAA Final Four Concert, The Color Run, VT 3.2 for 32 and that's just the first two weekends!
Until next post....laters!

Next up on the docket? Olly Murs. I must admit I am very amped for his show, he is so new that he is touring before his US album is even out! This is the best time to catch an artist. It's intimate, cost effective and fun.Coupled with concerts I've gotten back into going out and partying with friends.
