The Final Countdown (Dragon*Con Edition)

 So it's almost time for Dragon*Con! This will be the first year that I'll be there for the entirety of the "weekend". I use quotation marks around weekend because it's actually 5 days long. It used to be just the weekend and due to popularity and growth it's now officially starting on Thursday.  I honestly think if we could financially manage the expense that goes into hosting such a large event that we'd just do Monday to Monday hahahah😂😂😂. I've got a tentative cosplay line up done and am super stoked about them. 


So without further adieu:

Thursday: Static Shock Bunny & Gear Hef

Friday: Publix Loki Variant (tentatively)

Saturday: Bill Potts (Parade/Photoshoot)----still figuring out what to do in the afternoon

Sunday: Bill Potts/15th Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa)/Fugitive Doctor---Also the day of the Black Geeks of D*C Photoshoot

Monday: Lazy PJ/Onesie/Nerd Wear


This is also the first year that we'll be staying at a host hotel (or any hotel for that matter) so even though we've got to commute back and forth to take care of Fin it will be a wonderful experience to be so immersed. Now to go back to finishing my cosplays!!

So I went home this weekend...I had so much fun...I miss my family so much sometimes, but while I was home I learned something about myself I can't live MY life for my family. Three states, One Girl

No, this is not the beginning of a bad joke. It's actually the beginning of a cool trip. I had a conference in Boston a couple of weeks ago. That was my first time in MA, while there I took the opportunity to check off a couple of additional NE states that I'd never been too. Depending on who you ask NY may or may not be considered NE but in any case previously I'd only been as far north as CT. With this trip I also saw NH & ME. I actually had to look up the abbreviation for Maine because I'd never been and couldn't remember what it was 😅.  Coastal Maine was beautiful. I've obviously been on the east coast waters before but seeing it as a lush green forestscape was another thing entirely. I definitely see why it's the setting of so many Stephen King stories, it's hauntingly beautiful. New Hampshire was a bit more rustic than I expected in the most delightful way.
