A Day in the Life of a Master(s) of Education

We've officially started round 2 of political chaos. And whew it has been a wild one, from pausing all Federal grants & funding (like WIC & Veterans Aid) to having Federal workers resign or quit to ICE literally rounding people up. There's a lot of noise right now and fear and hurt and sadness. I am trying to hold on to joy. Like the joys of traveling, spending time with loved ones, resting. I did it!!! I finally got status with Delta. Last year without meaning to, I was only one trip short of earning Medallion status. However,  by the time I realized it I couldn't figure out how or afford to take that trip. So this year I was intentional about booking and taking trips. I tried to say yes as much as I could. I also was strategic in where I vacationed. Our anniversary celebration for example was in Canada 🇨🇦. Well with a little effort,  I did it! I'm going to enjoy this year with trips planned for Iceland, London and Paris at least. Next year, I won't have nearly enough spending to retain it. In any case, free upgrades here I come!!!
